 TLN Unconference
at the
2025 Badge Summit! 

Monday morning will kick off with the TLN Unconference at the Badge Summit. Taking the place of pre-conference workshops, our collaborators at the Trusted Learner Network organize a convening unlike any other in the digital credentials space. The unconference format means that the agenda is created on-site and in real time based on what you, the attendees, want to explore. ​

You can now register for in-person and virtual Badge Summit! The discounted rate for early registration ends April 30, 2025. Presenters will be notified of their session status prior to the close of early registration.

Call for Proposals

Session proposals for the 2025 Badge Summit @ CU Boulder are now closed
HOWEVER
stay tuned for our new Call for Presenters announcement in which attendees can submit to be included in a session that was not proposed but that we believe needs to happen at the conference.

​Session Formats:

• Badgesplaining -- (5-8 minutes) TED Talk-inspired format, Badge Summit style. Presented on the main stage. **Selected presenters will be invited to a virtual audition in February**
• Table Talk -- (10 minutes, repeated 6 times) Our take on poster sessions. Round-table discussion groups led by individual experts in their field
• Rapid Fire Session -- (30 minutes) Panel, Lecture, or activity-based
• Deep-Dive Interactive Session -- (45 minutes) Panel, Lecture or activity-based driven by an Essential Question and engaging the audience with opportunities to share, question, and work with other attendees
• Dream Makers’ Lounge Design Challenge -- (45 minutes) Presenters propose a "How might we?" question around which attendees engage in a facilitated rapid design consultancy with the presenters. [Ex: "How Might LERs Support Foster Youth Who Age Out of Care at 18?"]

*Note: Conference Committee prioritizes Table Talks, and may contact presenters about converting the proposed session to a different format. ​

Registration for the virtual Badge Summit is included in standard registration. It will feature pre-recorded content and live sessions from around the world. The schedule will be posted after the call-for-proposals, as the global nature of the event requires coordinating with presenters in many time zones.
